Albert J. Michell, Esquire

ABOUT

Mr. Michell grew up in the Pennsylvania farm country of Berks and Montgomery counties. In 1990 he graduated from Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, with a B.A. double major in History and Business Management and went to work for Uniroyal Goodrich Tire Company. Two years later, he left the business management track and entered Western New England College School of Law, Springfield, Massachusetts, graduating in1995 with a Juris Doctor degree.

After graduation he returned to the Philadelphia region and entered law practice. Mr. Michell's practice consists of general civil litigation, primarily regarding employment discrimination, personal injury matters, and civil rights. He has extensive state and federal court litigation experience with cases involving numerous Fortune 500 companies.

Mr. Michell is a Contract Mediator with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and in 2011 received the EEOC Commendation in Recognition and Appreciation for Outstanding Performance as mediator. He is a certified Arbitrator for both the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and the United States District Court of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
